A quintessential, noble grape, Chardonnay is uncommon in Provence. This wine is vinified in barrels, according to the fine Burgundy white-wine-making tradition. It is a wine of character, smooth with a long finish. It is characterised by its subtle, delicate aromas. The taste buds are carressed by its buttery, smoky hints… a delight for the palate.
This wine best reveals itself with smoked salmon, cooked fish, (sole, halibut or monkfish). Its generous taste also goes perfectly with cooked white meat or poultry in cream sauce.
